The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is soliciting up to three (3) teams of consultants to provide professional engineering services on a task order basis to advise and consult, on a minimum notice, quality engineering, consultation, and assistance for the MBTA's Water Transportation Service managed by the MBTA Railroad Operations Directorate. The Scope of Service(s) may include but is not limited to: General Planning Services, Project Management Assistance, Procurement Assistance and Systems Analysis maintenance and Development. The scope of services will be authorized on a task order basis by phase. The duration of this contract will be three (3) years from notice to proceed with a two (2) year time only option. This project is expected to utilize Federal and non-federal funding. The DBE participation goal for this project is 20% of the total amount authorized. In addition, the Authority strongly encourages the use of Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as prime consultants, sub-consultants, and suppliers in all of its contracting opportunities This is not a Request for Proposal. The MBTA reserves the right to cancel this procurement or to reject any or all Statements of Qualifications. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
