Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Georgetown, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 8,400-square-foot municipal facility; for the construction of a 13,100-square-foot retail development; and for site work for a retail development.
As of May 17, 2024, designs are complete. The architect and general contractor have been selected. Construction is anticipated to start in June 2024. -The closed solicitation is below for reference- The project will consist of the construction of a new workshop and the renovation of an existing building to house office spaces, including adjustments to the site and all other miscellaneous items. An acceptable Bid Bond or a Certified or Cashier's Check, payable without recourse to Jonah Water Special Utility District, in an amount of five percent (5%) of the BIDDER's maximum possible total of Bids submitted (including alternates) must accompany the Bid. Performance and Payment bonds, in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, as security for the faithful performance and payment of all Contractor's obligations under the Contract Documents, will be required of the Contractor in a Surety of his selection duly authorized to do business in the State of Texas and acceptable to OWNER. Refer to the General and Supplementary Conditions for additional requirements for Performance and Payment bonds. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to the opening of Bids without the consent of the OWNER.
