Renovation of a library in Fonthill, Ontario. Design plans call for the renovation of a library.
Phased retrofit & renovation to the existing library, including renovation of the existing floor space, updating of the facility's energy system, repairs to the exterior of the facility as necessary, installation of an elevator from the main floor to the basement, new furniture & shelving and any other upgrades necessary to ensure the building complies with AODA regulations. Exterior site works include addressing the existing grading issues that promote flooding near the building, reconstruction of the existing parking lot. TIMELINE: Project remains in detailed design. Tender and construction to be phased, beginning summer/fall 2026. Phase One budget is $1.5 million. Phase Two budget is $2.5 million.
