Chicago Public Schools is seeking to add to or renew our current pool of pre-qualified Specialty Professionals to provide consulting for technical reviews and investigations, building envelope investigations (including forensic) scope development, design development and construction administration in the 11 specialty categories listed below. If you are already in the current pool in this category, you must submit a proposal again for this new RFQ. If you are not in the current pool, you may submit to join this pool. Any firm may be in more than one pool - for instance you may be in this pool and also be in the Various Trades, General Contractor, Architect/Engineer of Record, or Environmental pools. We strongly encourage all qualified firms to submit. You may submit to one or more of the following categories: A. Structural Engineering/Building Envelope B. Elevator C. Acoustical D. Audio/Visual E. Lighting F. Swimming Pool G. LEED/Sustainability/Energy H. Commissioning I. Kitchen/Food Service J. Theatre K. Historic Preservation QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS RFQ MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN JULY 20, 2023 AT 2:00 P.M. CHICAGO TIME VIA BONFIRE. All written questions received by the deadline will be answered at the Pre-Submittal Conference and a written clarification will also be posted on the Board"s website where it will be available for review by all Respondents prior to the submission deadline. Late questions will not be answered. Oral clarifications offered by any Board employee will not be binding on the Board. Board's "Remedial Program for Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise Participation in Goods and Services Projects" ("Remedial Plan) by executing Form 100C and Form 104. If Respondent is a Minority or Woman-Owned company, a governmental certification letter must be submitted. Once PreQualified, for the pre-qualification period and the term of the master agreement, including any renewal terms, Respondent shall adhere to the applicable M/WBE requirements as set forth in the Remedial Plan at the time of a project award. The goals for this contract are 30% MBE and 7% WBE.
