Renovation of a municipal facility in Kugaaruk, Nunavut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The objective of this RFP is to provide Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning Services required for replacing existing diesel-powered generator (G1) with new genset (550 ekW continuous rating, 1200 rpm) and generation at 600 Volts. The overview of work requirements includes but not limited to the following: demolition and removal of the existing generator (G1) and its ancillary/auxiliary equipment assessment of existing systems, planning, design and fabrication of new dieselpowered generator and its ancillary/auxiliaryequipment supply, transportation and delivery of genset and all materials to Kugaaruk power plantsite replacement of main protection relay and upgrade control circuits, all other associated electrical devices installation of all jacket water cooling circuits, the exhaust system and support structure, radiator and its support structure, connection to the building heating system and the fuel system, etc. to accommodate the newGenset. construction/installation,testing and commissioning of new generator and ancillary/auxiliary equipment project management, HSE & quality control and riskmanagement
