The Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District (District) is requesting proposals for engineering consulting services (RFP) associated with our Southeast Interceptor - Rehabilitation on USH 51 (Phase 1) and Relocation at Yahara River project. This project and associated scope of services is intended to be completed in two stages. This RFP is seeking an engineering consultant to conduct a detailed design and construction services for this project. Improvements to US 51 from proposed WisDOT projects require modifications to portions of the Southeast Interceptor. Coordination with WisDOT and other local utilities will be needed throughout the process. Segments of the Southeast Interceptor from Exchange Street to Voges Road along USH 51 will include interceptor and manhole rehabilitation, manhole grade adjustments or reconstructions, and a manhole relocation at the Yahara River. See the RFP for further details. No verbal statement made by a district employee or anyone else is binding, nor shall such a statement be considered an official part of this public proposal.
