The objective of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit interest and credentials from qualified firms, licensed in the State of South Carolina, to provide Progressive design build of approximately 1 mile of the preliminary designed 5-mile paved Catawba Bend Preserve Greenway Trail Project. The trail will be approximately 10 feet wide. Questions Deadline: No later than August 10, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. The objective of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit interest and credentials from qualified firms, licensed in the State of South Carolina, to provide Progressive design build of approximately 1 mile of the preliminary designed 5-mile paved Catawba Bend Preserve Greenway Trail Project. The trail will be approximately 10 feet wide. Responses to this RFQ will be used to determine the relative qualifications of various teams to perform the scope of work and tasks specified. The County is seeking proposing teams with demonstrated expertise that meets the requirements of this RFQ. In order to be considered for this project, it must be demonstrated that the team and the team members should have recent experience in similar design and construction of public park facilities. It is anticipated that an agreement for progressive design-build services will be negotiated and executed between York County and the team who is determined to best meet the needs of the County for this project.
