Item 1. 50 kVA, 7970/13800-120/240V. Reconditioned Conventional Overhead Distribution Transformer. Reconditioned 50 kVA, 7970/13800-120/240V. Conventional Overhead Distribution Transformers. This specification is to cover minimum requirements for pole mount outdoor, oil-immersed distribution transformers suitable for operation on CPP s 13800 grounded wye connected distribution system. These transformers shall designed and constructed to meet or exceed applicable ANSI and NEMA standards. Including the latest revisions of the following ANSI Standards C57.12.00, C57.12.20, C57.12.31, C57.12.35, and C57.12.90. Construction: Two high voltage bushing design. Furnished with full capacity high voltage taps with two, 2.5% taps above and below full rated voltage, with external operating handle. Color ANSI No. 70, light gray. All transformers shall be equipped with a pressure relief device (Tomco Series 1776K, Qualitrol Model 202-032-1) or equivalent. Tanks shall have tank ground provisions and support lugs in accordance with ANSI Standard C57.12.20. BIL of 95 kV, 7970/13800 V. windings. BIL of 30 kV, all voltages less than 600 V. Warranty: The unit shall be warrantied to be free from defects in materials and workmanship and that it operates with in accordance of its nameplate for a period of 90 days from the date of delivery. Delivery: All items shall be shipped to 2490 West 41st Street between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM in open bodied vehicles to facilitate unloading by CPP.
