Demolition, renovation and addition to a library in Brookfield, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a library; for the addition of a library; and for the demolition of a library.
As of Aug 18, 2023 the project sole bid was rejected and not plan for rebid. The Town of Brookfield Parks Department is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors to renovate the paved patio and pathways on the Southern side of the Brookfield Library, 182 Whisconier Road, Brookfield. Scope of Work Patio Replacement (approx. 950 sq./ft.) 1. Demolish and remove existing bluestone patio and base 2. Dispose of all demolished materials appropriately and responsibly 3. Prepare area with 6 8 of compacted processed stone base The main patio is NOT to be reset in a concrete base like the existing one 4. Prepare area with 1 bedding layer of stone dust 5. Install new full color natural cleft 1 bluestone in a random pattern 6. All joints are to be swept in with polymeric joint locking sand 7. Any disturbed grass areas are to be top-soiled, seeded and hayed (shredded hay or pellets only) Questions shall be directed to the Purchasing Manager, or other contact if indicated, as detailed on page 2 of this request, no later than seven (7) days prior to the bid closing date
