The Benton County Natural Areas, Parks and Events is seeking proposals from a qualified forestry contractor to complete priority forest stewardship services within the Beazell Memorial Forest East Units. This work is a continuation of the adaptive management and project implementation as described within the current Benton County Forest Resources Stewardship Plan (adopted 2020). County reserves the right to amend the contract for an additional time period contingent upon need and the availability of approved funding. The solicitation process is pursuant to Benton County Code, Chapter 2, County Contracts. Benton County reserves the right not to select any Contractor, if information submitted is not in compliance with the requirements of the Request or if it is not in the County's interest to make a selection from those Contractor responding to the Request. The contract is anticipated to start in September 2023, and is anticipated to be active until December 2024. September 21st, 2023 - Contracted work begins December 15th, 2024- Completion of all contracted services, closeout of contract. The County reserves the right to amend the contract period as deemed necessary to successfully complete the project.
