Remodeling and renovation of a laboratory facility in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility; and for the remodel of a laboratory facility.
In general, the work consists of the renovation of the 340 and 356 rooms at Weeks Geology hall on the 3rd 14 floor on the Campus of the University of Wisconsin - Madison 1215 W Dayton St, Madison, wi 53706. The overall project is 1,255 sf. The work includes demolition of existing ceiling, fume hoods, and selective casework, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing removal within the rooms 340 and 356. The project will be salvaging existing wood lab casework, existing epoxy counter tops, and the existing floor within the space. New work includes new millwork, lab benches and specialty lab casework, (3) new fume hoods, walls, ceilings, paint finishes and new flooring in 340. New mechanical systems with a new exhaust fan at the roof. New electrical and plumbing scope within the lab space and adjacent hallway.
