As of November 14, 2023, information regarding the award and award date has not been disclosed. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The DNR seeks to retain the services of a registered architect to design a camp store in the day use area of Metamora-Hadley Recreation Area. The camp store is intended to provide everyday items to campers such as coffee, groceries, snack foods, soft drinks, ice cream and other miscellaneous items similar to a convenience store. The desired size of the proposed Camp Store will need to be approximately 1,000 square feet. (710 sf Retail, 150 sf Storage, 70 sf Office, and 70 sf Staff Toilet Rm). Also, as a requirement of the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, heating will need to be included in the design. The Professional Services Contractor (PSC) is to provide Phase 300 Schematic Design, Phase 400 Preliminary Design, Phase 500 Final Design / Bidding Documents, Phase 600 Construction Administration - Office Services, and Phase 700 Construction Administration - Field Inspection Services.
