Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cortez, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
2023 Street Improvement Project This project consists of the following pavement maintenance and improvements Coat two existing dirt streets with 4-6" millings - haul, place, and compact. Build new entrance road and parking lot at Cortez Police Station with access onto Empire Street (this section includes 930 SY of excavation, 400 tons of Class 6 road base, 160 ton of CDOT HMA mix). Rebuild existing parking lot at Cortez Police Station (this section includes 100 SY of concrete flatwork - driveway, sidewalk, and gutter pan). Remove asphalt, small trees, 150 LF of curb; finish grade and pave 120 tons of CDOT HMA mix. The City reserves the right to waive any formality or any informality in the process of awarding a bid. The City reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, and to reject any or all bids if it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so.
