Summit Lake Overhead requires repair work to be performed to ensure it can continue to carry highway legal loads until a major rehabilitation or replacement can be done in approximately five years. The repairs to the bridge include: Ultra-High Performance Concrete repairs to 35 stringer ends, Replacement of 13 deck joints, Concrete deck patch repairs and pier concrete patch repairs. The Site is the Summit Lake Overhead No. 1522 located on Trans-Canada Highway No. 1 and crosses the Canada Pacific Railway approximately 13 km west of Revelstoke, BC.
