As of August 8, 2023, project is cancelled. Project is no longer needed. Strafford County is seeking bids to replace approximately 52' of countertops in the Registry of Deeds office. All existing cabinetry will remain in place. Countertops are in a U shape and at various heights - there are a total of 4 different counters. All counters are approximately 34 1/2" wide. The Bid will be awarded to the responsible bidder whose bid will be the most advantageous to the county, price, and other factors considered. The County will make the determination. The County reserves the right at any time to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, to award portions of the bid, and to award contracts consistent with the County and the laws governing the State of New Hampshire. Normal payment terms are net thirty (30) days after receipt of invoice by the finance department. *Non compliance with any of the bid provisions could be cause for rejection on the bid Performance bond in the amount equal to 100% of the contract sum will be required of the successful bidder. Bonds must be written by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of New Hampshire, have a "Best's rating of "A" or better, and have a recommended bonds limits equal to or in excess of those required for this project; or otherwise acceptable to owner. If specified at time of bid. This bid DOES NOT require a performance bond. The Strafford County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids/ proposals, to award the bid to other than the low bidder if deemed "bid most advantageous to the County" and to waive any defects in bids.
