Demolition, site work and paving for a road / highway in Coos Bay, Oregon. Completed plans call for the demolition of a road / highway; for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Project is for construction of: Eastside Roads (E Street between 5th Ave. & 2nd Ave., 3rd Ave. between E Street & D Street, and 1st Ave. between D Street & C Street. Work includes the following main items: Cold plane pavement removal, asphalt concrete pavement, full depth asphalt removal, with foundation stabilization, demolition work and other misc. items associated with street rehabilitation. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any technicalities or informalities in connection with the bids. . Questions received less than seven (7) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered The Contractor shall be required to phase the work in order to maintain existing public services and minimize impacts to local residents, other public services, roadway access, travel conditions, and business operations. 2. In low traffic areas the Contractor shall be allowed to re-direct traffic to adjacent roads with local traffic only being permitted to travel thru the construction zone at one-block intervals. Two-way traffic will be allowed at the end of each workday on all streets. 3. Work in residential areas shall be completed during working hours. Working hours are defined as 8:00 a.m. and 6 p.m. Work outside these hours shall be approved by the Owner in writing with 48 hours advanced notice.
