Site work and asbestos abatement for a water / sewer project in Great Neck, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for asbestos abatement for a water / sewer project.
The purpose of this project is to replace existing 6- and 8-inch asbestos-cement / cast iron water main along Evans Street, Haddon Road and Patton Boulevard with approx. 2,400 LF of new 8-inch C.L.D.I. water main, including appropriate valving, hydrants, and water service connections. Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the Manhasset-Lakeville Water District, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities and to accept such bid which, in the opinion of the Owner, is in the best interests of the Owner.
