Site work and paving for a road / highway in Jefferson, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project will include approximately 7,724 SY of reworking road base, 100 Tons of portland cement, 1545 gal of prime coat, 935 Tons of HMAC Overlay, and other miscellaneous items of construction. A Bidders Bond, Certified or Cashiers Check in an amount not less than (5%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract with the City of Jefferson, Texas. The project is to be substantially complete within 60 calendar days from the notice to proceed and shall be fully complete within 60 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Liquidated damages of $300.00 per day shall be assessed for any days in which contract time is exceeded. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City of Jefferson reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
