Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid In furtherance of the Project, BPCA hereby requests proposals from general construction contractors and marine construction contractors, to provide BPCA with structural repairs (the "Work") to the exterior of the building located at Pier A (the "Pier Building" or, in reference to the Pier A site overall, the "Project Site"). The Work shall include, but not be limited to: (1) preparation of timber piles and installation of protective timber pile wrap at the Project Site; (2) performance of concrete spalling repairs, void repairs, and crack repairs to the underside of the Pier Building and to the Project Site's breakwater structure, as needed; (3) performance of necessary repairs to the Pier Building's structural steel components; and, (4) performance of concrete injections at various undermined areas of the Pier Building. BPCA reserves the right to cancel or withdraw in whole or in part this RFP at its sole discretion. Proposers will be notified in the event the RFP is cancelled via the BPCA website.
