Lauzon Parkway and Cabana Rd E (formerly County Road 42 Improvement project. Scope to include: widening of Cabana Rd E (formerly CR42) from CNR tracks to the city limits; Lauzon Parkway/Cabana Rd E intersection realignment; Walker Rd/Cabana Rd E intersection improvements; and widening of Lauzon Parkway from the CP tracks to Cabana Rd E. Project is required to accommodate development in the area, like the new hospital and the battery plant. TIMELINE: Project is in design. Phase One tender - which includes stormwater management pond and underground linear works - anticipated summer 2026. Timelines for subsequent phases have not yet been finalized as they are in early design. Further update may be confirmed summer 2026.
