Site work for a residential development in Owensboro, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development.
Owensboro Municipal Utilities (OMU), a municipal power distributor and telecom service provider, is requesting bids for labor only to install telecom facilities as part of an extension to an existing Fiber-To-The-Home system. The project will occur in the areas included in Attachment A. The project includes the installation of: o Five 288-port and Nine 432-port pad-mounted Distribution Hub Cabinets with underground dip o 60 Distribution Splice + NAP (Network Access Point) Splice o 450 Distribution/NAP Splice Combination o Installation of: o 61,082 feet of 288-count aerial fiber optic cable o 7,616 feet of 144-count aerial fiber optic cable o 32,738 feet of 96-count aerial fiber optic cable o 36,752 feet of 48-count aerial fiber optic cable o 23,886 feet of 24-count aerial fiber optic cable o 30,297 feet of 12-count aerial fiber optic cable o 12,420 +/- 50 fusion splices o 50 down guys o 10 span-guy A majority of down guys will be able to attach to existing anchors. All material required for the installation of these facilities will be provided by OMU OMU reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities
