Sealed bids are invited for the rehabilitation of the Perch Creek Stormwater Management Pond Retrofit as summarized below. Retrofitting of the existing Perch Creek Stormwater Management Basin including installation of a bioswale and bioretention area, replacement of an existing principal spillway structure, replacement of the inlet pipe end section, creation of a forebay in accordance with the contract specifications and drawings. The work is located off Frenchtown Road in the Perch Creek subdivision, Glasgow, Delaware. Bid envelopes shall carry a clear notation "Perch Creek Stormwater Management Pond Retrofit" Contract No.: 2023-04, Bid No.: 23-2310. Bids shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond or certified check in an amount equal to 10 percent of the bid price, payable to New Castle County and conditioned to be forfeited to said County for failure to enter into a contract, if awarded. Awards, if any, will be made to the lowest responsible bidder. The County reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive minor irregularities.
