Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Kawartha Lakes, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The work will include, but not limited to, all labour, materials, fuel and equipment for the Rainbow Bridge replacement as further described in the RFQ document The work will include, but not limited to, all labour, materials, fuel and equipment to: - Traffic control activities for the full closure of Rainbow Pedestrian Bridge; - Supply and install environmental / watercourse protection system; - Supply and install dewatering system to allow construction to be completed in the dry; - Excavate and remove existing bridge abutments and complete isolated pier removal in the wet; - Remove asphalt and steel beam guide rail on approaches; - Construct new concrete abutments; - Design, fabricate, deliver, assemble, and install new prefabricated truss bridge; - Grade approaches to the new elevation and pave; - Backfill excavation and restore disturbed areas; and - Install new railing along the approaches.
