Renovation of a mixed-use development in Jonesboro, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Work includes the following: (Installation of new Fire Suppression System will be added via addendum this week) Site: - Replace vehicle gates - Re-letter monument sign - Replace diesel generator w/ natural gas generator Warehouse Building: - TPO Roof over existing metal roof - Freezer/Cooler Replace, including freezer slab, frost-heave prevention, A/C - Crash guards & rails - Fire Alarm System Replace - Security Camera System Replace - Sprinkler system replace (Addendum #1) Office Building (K.W. White Sr): - New Flooring, Paint, Ceiling tiles - Light fixture replacement (LED's 1 for 1) - HVAC Systems (Ductwork & grilles to remain) - Restroom fixture replacements (Accessories to remain) - Minor interior renovations (Break Room, Kitchen, Receptions) - Window Replacements (one new window Office 216) Any prequalified person or entity that fails to attend the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference shall not be permitted to submit a Bid on the Project and any Bid submitted by the prequalified person or entity that did not attend the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference shall be returned unopened. The proposed project work consists of but is not limited to: The renovation of two district support facilities which include an office building and warehouse. The scope of the warehouse will include the replacement of the current metal roof with a TPO roofing system and the replacement of the district's primary cooler and freezer. The scope of the office building will include new finishes, casework and replacement of the HVAC system and lighting throughout. All anticipated federal, state and local permits required for the Project have not been obtained. Required permits are anticipated on or before Tuesday, August 22, 2023. All rights of way and easements anticipated for the Project have not been obtained. Required rights of way or easements are anticipated on or before Tuesday, August 22, 2023. The Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis by base bid. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after Bid opening, except as otherwise expressly provided by applicable law. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities and informalities. The proposed scope of work consists of but is not limited to: Partial renovation of Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) Maintenance Office Building and Maintenance Warehouse Building. Maintenance Office Building scope to consist of replacing flooring, wall paint, light fixtures, ceiling tiles, casework and plumbing fixtures, HVAC systems. Maintenance Warehouse Building scope to consist of installing new TPO retrofit roofing system over existing Metal Roof with new gutters, downspouts and flashing; Replacing freezer and cooler; Replacing alarm and security surveillance systems throughout.
