As of September 14, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project entails the complete gut renovation of all Tower core men's and women's bathrooms located on floors 2 through 12 of the Tower Administration building, as well as the private bathroom located in the Nassau Community College President's office. Work shall include all Architectural; Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP); Finishes & Equipment (FE). Principal features of the project include bulk ACM abatement; demolition of all plumbing fixtures; accessories; floor and wall tiles; lighting fixtures and controls; and replacements with new components, as well as modification of existing exhaust and heating systems per Contract documents. A PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT, negotiated between Nassau Community College and the Construction Trades Council of Nassau and Suffolk Counties, will be attached in a future addendum. Security for Bid and List of Subcontractors as set forth herein must be presented with the Bid. FAILURE TO PROVIDE THE REQUIRED SECURITY WILL RENDER THE BIDDER NON-RESPONSIVE AND THE BID WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED, OPENED OR READ ALOUD. All bidders will be held to have accepted all terms and conditions of the bid and Contract Documents, to have examined the site and conditions that may affect the work and to have fully informed themselves of all requirements they will be held responsible to perform.
