Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Portland, Maine. Working plans call for the renovation of an indoor swimming pool.
As of Aug 21, 2023 the project bids came in over budget, looking for additional funding before moving forward . Briefly and without force and effect upon the contract documents, the work of the contract can be summarized as follows: provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and services for interior demolition and cleanup: new GWB partitions; new door hardware; new acoustical ceilings; ceramic tile work; painting/repainting all surfaces in the work area; all new plumbing, electrical and HVAC work. HVAC, plumbing and electrical work shall be considered Design/Build.
