The Southeast Monmouth Municipal Utilities Authority will receive sealed bids for the supply and delivery of Hydrant Supplies for use by the Southeast Monmouth Municipal Utilities Authority, participating members (Wall Township, Borough of Brielle, Sea Girt, Spring Lake Heights & Spring Lake), as more particularly described in the Bid Specifications and Bid Proposal Forms. No bids will be received after the specified time and date. In the event the Authority receives bids for more than one publicly bid project at the same date and time, the Authority shall designate the sequencing of the bid openings in its discretion. Bids must be made and submitted on the standard proposal form(s) in the manner specified therein, and in accordance with the Specifications. All bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and clearly labeled "Bid for Hydrant Supplies." Bids that are emailed or faxed will not be accepted. All sealed envelopes shall be addressed to Stephen Mayer, the Chief Financial Officer of the Southeast Monmouth Municipal Utilities Authority. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the amount of the bid and must be accompanied by a Certificate of Surety and Business Registration Certificate, as set forth in the Specifications. The Southeast Monmouth Municipal Utilities Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in bidding and the right to reject any or all bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the Utility Authority to do so, and reserves the right to hold the bids and proposal guarantees of the three (3) lowest regular bidders for sixty (60) days before making an award of contract and each bidders consents to this extension of time and agrees that he will not withdraw his bid during this period of review time. Bidder is required to comply with all applicable Laws and Regulations including P.L. 1975, C. 127 (Affirmative Action) P.L. 1999, C. 238 (Public Works Contractor Registration) and P.L. 1963, C. 150 (Prevailing Wages), if applicable. Bidder is required to comply with requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Bidder is advised of the responsibility to comply with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.13. Bidder is required to submit with its bid a valid Business Registration Certificate issued by the State of New Jersey (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44).
