Site work for an educational facility in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
**As of September 6, 2023, project was awarded, start date is August 28 2023 and will be completed by end of this year** Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to: two new crosswalks, accessible ramps, granite curbing, relocation of two rectangular rapid flashing beacons, and other related work. The proposed work includes the installation of two new crosswalks and associated accessible ramps and signage as seen on the proposed plans. The accessible ramps will be cement concrete and utilize granite transition curbing where Pleasant Street is intersected. The granite curbing will require cement concrete on both sides to hold in place. Additionally, two existing rectangular rapid flashing beacons mounted on square sign posts will be required to be removed and relocated as part of this project; each sign is wireless and powered by onboard solar panels. Care shall be taken removing and resetting these signs. All questions and requests for interpretations must be submitted in writing to Andrew Stack, the Town Engineer at astack@tewksbury-ma.gov by July 26, 2023, at 2:00PM
