Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Oakville, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The purpose of this Request for Tender is to award to a successful bidder, the contract for the Rehabilitation of Burnhamthorpe Road West Bridges over the Credit River. The rehabilitation work includes, but is not limited to the following: environmental protection/mitigation measures; clearing and grubbing; work platforms and scaffolding; construction of median crossover detours; excavation and backfill; construction of new concrete toe wall; concrete repairs and concrete sealing at various locations of the structures; jacking and temporary blocking of superstructure at abutments; reconstruction of ballast walls, bearing seats/plinth, and deck drain assemblies connected to the storm sewer catch basins; replacement of the bearing assemblies, deck drain assemblies and downspouts, expansion joint assemblies, approach slabs, asphalt and waterproofing system; and landscaping restoration.
