S&C 15KV HV PAD-MOUNT GEAR Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 164, 56D, the Hingham Municipal Lighting Plant (HMLP) invites proposals for the purchase of QTY 3, S&C 15KV HV PADMOUNT GEAR, CATALOG # 65162R1-A10-K17 The HMLP reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and minor irregularities in bids received, and also to accept any bid in total or in part but not necessarily the lowest bid. The pad-mounted gear shall consist of a single self-supporting enclosure, containing interrupter switches and power fuses with the necessary accessory components, all completely factoryassembled and operationally checked. The interrupter switches and fuses shall be enclosed within an inner grounded steel compartment for electrical isolation and for protection from contamination. Switch terminals shall be equipped with bushings rated 600 amperes continuous, and fuse terminals and bus terminals shall be equipped with bushing wells rated 200 amperes continuous to provide for elbow connection. Bushings and bushing wells shall be mounted on the walls ofthe inner compartment and shall extend into termination compartments. Termination compartments shall be provided as follows: one for each threephase switch, one for each three-phase set offuses, and one for each three-phase set ofbus terminals.
