Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This project provides for the Commission to issue Work Authorizations to the Contractor to perform bridge repairs as the need arises. The contract time period will extend from the date of Notice to Proceed to May 30, 2025. A Prequalification Certification and Applicable Capacity Rating assigned by the Prequalification Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is a necessary prerequisite for bidding on this project. Work items may include, but are not limited to: Maintenance and Protection of Traffic Underdeck Protection Shields Concrete Deck Patching Latex Modified Concrete Deck Patching Tech Crete Deck Patching Repair Class AA Cement Concrete Repairs Joint Repairs (Bridge Expansion Joint System or Asphaltic Plug Joint System) Protective Fence Aesthetic Concrete Coating High Strength Fiber Wrap Epoxy - Aggregate Overlay for Bridge Decks Milling and Installation of Concrete Latex Overlay on Bridge Decks. An electronic bid bond, from an approved vendor, with corporate surety, in the amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00) must be submitted with the proposal as bid security. The bid security ofthe three (3) low bidders will be retained until the execution of the contract.
