The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) is solicitating Contractor services, including all necessary labor, equipment and materials, under the ID/IQ On-Call Contractor Steel Bridge Repairs Task Order Program at various locations in the State of Rhode Island. The DOT expects to issue Individual Task Orders under the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) three-year program. The program will be managed under the direction of RIDOT'S Offices of Project Management and Bridge Engineering in conjunction with the Federal Highway Administration, applicable City and Town municipalities and other State Agencies as required. Vendor Q&A Duration Start Date July 11, 2023 at 9:15:00 AM EDTEnd Date July 31, 2023 at 4:30:00 AM EDT The Contractor performing the steel repair work shall be, at minimum, certified as a "Certified Steel Erector (CSE)" and possess a Bridge Erection Endorsement (BEE) in accordance with the AISC Quality Certification Programs and Endorsements. The Contractor shall be required to submit proof of current certification and endorsement in good standing, as part of this Solicitation. The "Certified Steel Erector" may be either the Prime or a Subcontractor, however, if utilizing a Subcontractor as a CSE, the Prime Contractor must still satisfy the amount of self-performed work for each task order assignment in accordance with Section 108 - Prosecution and Progress of the Rhode Island Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction.
