The AIA Document A310 - 2010 bid bond is the preferred format. If agreement is for multiple years, each year should be combined to get your total cost. Facsimiles or copies of bid bond will not be accepted and bid will be disqualified if submitted. Each Bid Must Be Enclosed in a Separate Sealed Envelope With Sealed Bid and the Bid Number Marked on the Front. The bidder shall thoroughly examine and familiarize themselves with the drawings, specifications, and all other contract documents. The Contractor by the execution of the contract shall in no way be relieved of any obligation under it due to their failure to receive or examine any form or legal instrument or to visit the site and acquaint themselves with the conditions there existing. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the City Engineer. Every interpretation made to a bidder will be in the form of an addendum to the contract documents and when issued will be on file in the office of the City Purchasing Officer and the office of the City Engineer. In addition, it shall be the bidder's responsibility to make inquiry as to the addenda issued. All such addenda shall become part of the contract documents and all bidders shall be bound by such addenda, whether or not received by the bidder.
