Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and road / highway.
Questions shall be directed to purchasing@cityofportsmouth.com no later than August 14, 2023, at 4:30 PM. Addenda to this proposal document, if any, including written answers to questions, will be posted on the City of Portsmouth Online. Addenda and updates will NOT be sent directly to vendors. Completion time for the project will be calculated as calendar days from the date specified in the "Notice to Proceed" as follows: 275 calendar days for substantial completion. 305 calendar days for final completion Liquidated damages will be in the amount of $1,000 for each calendar day of delay from the date established for substantial completion, and $1,000 for each calendar day of delay from the date established for final completion. Each General Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the Total Bid Price. The successful Bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds and will be required to execute the Contract Agreement within 10 days following notification of the acceptance of their Bid The City of Portsmouth reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept and negotiate the terms of any proposal that it may deem to be in the best interest of the City.
