Demolition, site work and paving for a civil project in Central City, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Construction budget for Base Bid is $350,000 and the Alternate Bid is $300,000. The project includes all labor, materials, items and/or equipment, and transportation as necessary for the demolition of the existing culvert and construction of a 23-ft wide by 40-ft long prefabricated multi-girder steel beam bridge, including other site improvements, to carry North Shore Trail over Calendar Run inside Indian Lake Borough The Contract may be awarded at the Indian Lake Borough Council on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, on or about 6:00 p.m. EST (Prevailing Time). All Bid Proposals must be submitted on PennDOT forms, available from the Borough. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% is required. The Project is subject to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rate requirements. Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract price shall be required of the Successful Bidder. Questions regarding this Bid shall be submitted in writing to the Borough Secretary via email at kirsten@indianlakepa.gov per guidance outlined in the bidding documents. Verbal requests will not be accepted. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. The Borough reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities in the bid submission and the unqualified right to reject any and all Bids. It is the Borough's intent to award a Contract for this Project per the lowest Total Lump Sum Bid for the Base or Alternate Bid option selected by the Borough to be in their best interest to the lowest responsive, qualified and responsible Bidder. It is proposed, upon execution of the Contract, to start construction on the date specified in the Notice to Proceed and to execute all of the said work so as to complete construction within one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days after the specified date. The final completion date will be negotiated and mutually agreed upon prior to the commencement of the Work.
