Renovation of a residential development in Dauphin, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
This project site is located at 116 Whitmore Avenue West in Dauphin, Manitoba. This consists of three, one-storey apartment style buildings commissioned in 1972 and has a total of 90 units. The existing buildings are wood-framed construction supported on a thickened edge concrete slab-on-grade foundation. The exterior gable walls are clad with painted plywood. The existing building roofs are framed with prefabricated wood roof trusses, wood sheathing, roof membrane and asphalt shingles. The building soffit materials vary throughout the complex, being either painted plywood or prefinished perforated aluminum. The fascia consists of prefinished aluminum and the rain gear consists of prefinished aluminum eavestroughs and closed downspouts.
