This call for tenders aims to award a service contract aimed at taking soil samples, analyzing the samples taken and determining whether there is soil contamination in relation to the limit values for the various parameters analyzed. The service provider will have to prepare a preliminary phase II environmental characterization report. In the event that the samples taken have contaminant levels exceeding the limit values, the service provider must also prepare the description of needs, the estimates and price schedules for a call for tenders for a more exhaustive phase II characterization. The Lac Daigle sand pit is located 7 km north of the municipality of Sept-Iles, on the Lac Daigle road. The central coordinates of the site are MTM zone 6,389,170 meters east, 5,573,064 meters north. The work must be carried out as soon as the contract is signed and completed no later than October 15, 2023 .
