The University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) is soliciting proposals from experienced firms to provide Parking Garage Management Services in Adelphi, Maryland. This is a Small Business Reserve Procurement for which award will be limited to Certified Small Business vendors. Only vendors that meet the statutory requirements set forth in State Finance and Procurement Article Subsections 14-501 - 14-505, Annotated Code of Maryland, and who are registered with the Department of General Services Small Business Reserve Program are eligible for award of a contract. Proposing firms must be certified by the State of Maryland and such a certification needs to be submitted to UMGC to be eligible to receive the award The intent of this Request for Proposals ("RFP" or "Solicitation") is to provide firms an opportunity to present their qualifications, experience, and conceptual approach to providing the scope of services in relation to the needs of UMGC. Proposals that concisely present the information requested in the order and manner requested will be considered more favorably than a Proposal ("Proposal" or "Offer") from an Offeror of commensurate qualifications that displays a lack of organization, conciseness, or attention to detail Proposers should receive an automatically generated verification from Box when the file has successfully uploaded. Proposals or unsolicited amendments to proposals arriving after the due date and time will not be considered. UMGC is seeking a full-service parking management firm to provide labor, materials, and first-class customer service to UMGC students, guests, faculty and staff during the semi-annual Grad Walk events held in May and December. The first event under the resulting contract will take place in December 2023. Other events requiring parking services may be added as needed. UMGC has a five-level parking garage with 846 spaces and additional parking in designated surrounding roadways and parking areas. Offerors may modify their Technical Proposals and submit to the Technical Proposal Box address provided in the solicitation at any time prior to the due date and time. Offerors must email written confirmation of the modification, including the signature of the Offeror, to Pamela Welzenbach at pamela.welzenbach@umgc.edu and the Procurement Officer prior to the Proposal due date and time.
