Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the construction of a 60,750-square-foot educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
A collaboration between Rio Rancho Public Schools and Central New Mexico Community College, the new Skilled Trades Facility is a renovation project that transforms a 73,929 SF call center into a vocational high school. The structure of the original building is composed of glulam trusses on steel channel columns enclosed by tilt-up concrete walls on the exterior. The interior walls are structurally independent from the building structure, providing flexibility for future necessities. This new facility houses 5 vocational shops, 10 general classrooms, 8 specialized classrooms, as well as corresponding high school support spaces including admin space for both RRPS and CNM. Bradbury Stamm Construction has been selected as the CMAR for the Rio Ranch Public Schools Skilled Trades Facilities. We are currently accepting bids for the following scopes only. We are procuring these packages early to assist with the final design and allow long lead times to be purchased right away.
