The project consists of clearing and grubbing two (2) separate 1-acre properties. The first property is located near the town of Zorn along SH-123 in Guadalupe County. The other property is located along IH-35 near Watson Lane East in Comal County. Each site shall be completely cleared and grubbed of all trees. The Zorn site also includes a shed that needs to be removed from the property. Question Deadline: 08/07/2023 at 2:00 PM CT A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each proposal. The successful respondent will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible Surety Company, authorized to do business in the State of Texas. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner will reject the Bid of any Bidder that Owner finds, after reasonable inquiry and evaluation, to not be responsible. If Bidder purports to add terms or conditions to its Bid, takes exception to any provision of the Bidding Documents, or attempts to alter the contents of the Contract Documents for purposes of the Bid, then the Owner will reject the Bid as nonresponsive; provided that Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work.
