Scope includes abatement of hazardous materials. HDH Technical, Inc. was contracted by Dickenson County Public Schools to provide an asbestos inspection of the roof sections at Sandlick Elementary School located in Birchleaf, Virginia. The inspection was conducted by personnel trained and licensed in accordance with the regulations of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Commonwealth of Virginia. This inspection was performed using current EPA AHERA standards. This protocol was used for the determination, sampling and analysis of suspected Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM). All Pre-Bid Questions must be submitted in writing and emailed to brandon.taylor@skanska.com no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 11, 2023. Sealed bids are invited for the demolition of Sandlick Elementary School and associated structures to include fieldhouse, wood structure and pump station, field goal posts, ticket booth, picnic shelter, and outbuilding. Scope includes abatement of hazardous materials. Must be licensed as a Class A contractor in the State of Virginia. A bid bond in the amount of 5% is required.
