As of Sept 11, 2023 the project was awarded to Nagy Construction for $58,632.40. Paving Program Manor Drive , Terrace Avenue , And James Drive Should a Contractor fad to complete his work on or before the time set forth above or as provided in the Contract Documents covering extension of time, the Owner may retain an amount equal to $200.00 per calendar day as liquidated supplemental damages for each calendar day in accordance with this provision. No oral interpretation shall be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of any of the Contract Documents or be effective to modify any of the provisions of the Contract Documents. AU questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer at least five ( 5 ) days before the established date for Bid opening. The Engineer wil 1 respond by Addenda, which shall become part of the Contract, to all questions received as above provided and his decision regarding each. At least three (3) days prior to the opening of Bids, he will send a copy of these Addenda to each of those who has obtained a set of the Contract Documents. Proposal must be upon the forms furnished by Senate Engineering Company and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the 'form attached to the Contract Documents, in the amount of 10% of the Bid., made payable to Manor Township. A Performance Bond, a Labor and Materialmen (Payment) Bond, and Maintenance Bond in the forms which are inserted after the Contract Agreement and each in the sum as herein specified and duly executed by the successful Bidder and Principal and by a surety company qualified to do business under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (signed by an Agent or Attorney-in-Fact who is a resident of Pennsylvanta) and satisfactory to tire Owner. as Surety , will be required tor the faithful performance ofthe Contract, the payment for labor and materials and for the guarantee and maintenance of the work.
