The scope of the Project is as follows: Install a new, secondary dehumidification unit on the lower roof of the southeast side of the facility. The new dehumidification system will require structural support modifications to the roof trusses; will include installation of circular fabric air dispersion ductwork routed the length of the arena; new gas piping, new electrical pulls; and a new automated control system that will control both the existing and the new dehumidification systems. Location: 1800 Admiral Sheehy Drive, Dubuque, Iowa Each Bidder must accompany its Bid with a Bid security as security that the successful Bidder will enter into a contract for the work Bid upon and will furnish after the award of contract a corporate surety Bond, acceptable to the governmental entity, for the faithful performance of the contract, in an amount equal to one hundred percent of the amount of the contract. The Bid security must be in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the contract and must be in the form of a cashier's check or certified check drawn on a state-chartered or federally chartered bank, or a certified share draft drawn on a statechartered or federally chartered credit union, or the Bidder may provide a Bid Bond with corporate surety satisfactory to the governmental entity. The Bid Bond must contain no conditions except as provided in this section Targeted Small Businesses (TSB) Affirmative Action Responsibilities for Non-Federal aid Projects are not applicable and will NOT be in effect for this Project. Davis-Bacon Federal Prevailing Wage Act and related labor requirements and regulations will NOT be in effect for this Project. There will be no Pre-Bid Construction Conference held for this project. The City of Dubuque, Iowa, reserves the right to reject any and all Bids.
