Question Deadline: Fri Aug 4, 2023 5:00 PM (PDT) Placer County is soliciting competitive bids for Fire Extinguisher Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance in all County facilities from South Placer County to Truckee and the Tahoe Area. The Contractor shall supply all materials, labor, parts, supervision, tools, and transportation for Fire Extinguishers. This bid shall be evaluated and awarded on a category or all-or-none basis. The evaluation will be conducted under the provisions of Section 6 of the General Terms and Conditions, which will include at minimum: the pricing offered herein, prompt payment discounts if offered, local vendor preference (if applicable), and adherence to all conditions and requirements of this bid. Placer County intends to award to the successful bidder in the total amount of $30,000 for an initial one-year term with possible annual renewals. The successful contractor and its technicians shall possess and maintain current licenses and certifications. Placer County does not guarantee any minimum or maximum number of hours that service shall be required. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions contained in the Bid Invitation and associated attachments.
