Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA), Michigan Air National Guard (MIANG), is requesting professional
architectural and engineering services to perform Phase 300-700 Professional Services to design multiple
projects supporting the Runway Encroachment Solution at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan.
The intent of this selection process is to contract with a qualified firm to provide ad-hoc professional
services to design four (4) independent, but interconnected projects related to accommodating a 1,000
Linear Foot (LF) northward extension of the runway at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. These (4) design
tasks collectively make up Runway Extension: Project #1 - Non-Airfield Improvements:
1) Relocate Rosso Highway
2) Relocate Irwin Drain, Tucker Jones Drain, and Modify Jefferson Culverts
3) Relocate Perimeter Fencing
4) Relocate Base Perimeter Road
One optional task is identified in the PWS. Proposals shall separately identify proposed fees to
accomplish optional Task 5: Museum Public Access. Design intent is to provide Phase 100 Study services
to explore possible design solutions for providing public access to the Selfridge Military Air Museum. The
government intends to award this option if/when funding is made available and reserves the right to modify
