The purpose of this Quick Quote is to solicit quotes for an immediate need for mowing, weed eating, edging and blowing at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia. Immediate need for August & September. October will be optional and at the discretion of the operations manager. Approximately 30 acres of turf and 5,000 headstones. To include mowing, weed eating, edging and blowing. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, supervision and equipment in accordance with all OSHA, Federal, State and local regulations. Mowers must be mulching type (72-inch recommended), cannot use side discharge around the head stones (may be used in the open fields). Headstone rows are 8 feet apart or greater. Weed eating and edging to include headstones, flat stones, trees, bushes, flower beds, drainage ditches, dry ponds, approximately 1000 feet of sidewalks, building to include administration building bathrooms and chapel. Must be completed weekly. Work hours are between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Saturday. Sundays are not allowed.
