Description of Project: The project is located throughout the City of Esbon. It includes the replacement of approximately 3,700 LF of 4" waterline and 175 LF of 2" waterline by HDD or conventional excavation and backfill as a part of the base bid, to include the replacement of valves, fittings, fire hydrants, and other miscellaneous appurtenances. The base bid also includes the replacement of all public water service line and the private water service line to three feet outside of the building the connection serves (96 total). The add alternate bid includes the replacement of approximately 1,400 LF of 8" waterline, 570 LF of 4" waterline and 365 LF of 2" waterline, to include the replacement of valves, fittings, fire hydrants, and other miscellaneous appurtenances.
