Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Saranac, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The Owner is County of Clinton and the work site are located in the Town of Dannemora, Clinton County New York. The project is located approximately 1000 feet south of the intersection of Standish Road (CR 1) and NYS 374. The projects limits extend from: 125 feet south to 175 feet north of the bridge. The Method of Contractor Selection Has Not Been Determined at This Time. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the Plans and described in these Specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: Remove and replace the existing bridge and reconstruct approximately 300 linear feet of approach roadway to tie the bridge into the adjacent highway. The DBE goal for this project is 4%. 2.6% Minority Employment Goal 6.9% Women Employment Goal The Work Will Be Substantially Completed 20 Calendar Weeks From Notice to Proceed and Completed and Ready for Final Payment by December 31, 2025. Each bid must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information For Bidders. The Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to furnish Performance, Payment and Guarantee Bonds from an acceptable Surety Company for an amount not less than 100% of the accepted bid.
