Per the owner, as of June 10, 2024, they will announce an award for this solicitation in a few months. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ............. The One Sumter Economic Development Foundation (One Sumter) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced firms. The engineering services contract will encompass all project-related engineering, surveying, and architectural services required for the construction of a new multi-purpose community park and amphitheater, the Pearly Brown Park & Amphitheater (PBP), on an approximately 6.7-acre parcel in Americus, Georgia. A previously completed conceptual master plan for PBP will serve as a guide and reference tool in the planned three phase development process, wherein each phase represents a fully usable park and incremental progress towards the ultimate completion of the overall project. Significant funding for the first phase of the project will be provided through a federal Community Project Funding Grant administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; therefore, all design services, procurement, construction, record keeping, and reporting must comply with applicable HUD standards & requirements.
