Site work, paving and addition to a sidewalk / parking lot in Oxford, Ohio. Working plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for the addition of a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of 9/18/2023 Please be advised that the University has decided to cancel this project. All bids are rejected and any hard-copy Bonds received by the University are in the process of being returned to the submitting Bidders. We apologize for any inconvenience this decision has caused. The Work consists of the following 1. Single Prime Contractor is responsible for all work shown and described in the project documents. 2. Site clearing and demolition, staging, temporary fences & barricades, temporary seeding and erosion control, and other temporary facilities. 3. Construction of the new parking lot addition as shown on the plans Bidders are advised to familiarize themselves with the geotechnical report incluced at the front of this manual. Refer to the grading notes included on Sheet C152 regarding anticipated undercutting as part of the grading operations. The outfall pipe from the proposed detention basin outlets onto an adjacent property owned by the City of Oxford. The contractor will be required to coordinate access within this site with the city during the installation of the the proposed storm sewer piping. The existing portion of the Chestnut parking lot will be in use throughout the duration of this project . Any disruptions with any of the parking lot drives or spaces will need to be coordinated in advance with the university. 4. Implement erosion control necessary to control runoff from the site until vegetation is reestablished on the site Question Deadline: 8/8/2023 12:00 PM Base Bid:$1,700,0 0 Alt 1:$300,000; and Alt. 2:$500,000.
